Nelly Los Angeles reviews
Sound
The worst part of the concert was the sound. We got last minute tickets and we were on the floor sec 7 which we got a hella deal on the tickets. But couldn't really understand what was being sung. Couldn't really get in concert mode with all the DJ breaks. I mainly came to see Ashanti and Jarule I loved it even though I caught that she messed up on one of her own songs. I guess it was a good thing I knew every word to every song sung. The beer prices was ridiculously TOO HIGH 2 big cans of Bud light for almost $40. Bridgestone do better with sounds checks. Plus it was advertised that Ma$e was gonna be there to but he never showed.
High hopes for a good time
4 of us bought tickets in the upper section and was really looking forward to this event! All the jams we had on our burnt cd’s! They best part of the show was ying yang. The sound quality sucked, you couldn’t hear anything and what you could hear the sound was extremely muffled. The event was incredibly long, the DJ sets for almost 25 minutes twice, not including the sets in between artists was a bit much. While we stayed until the end beside my friends wanted to see Nelly, we had a good time, but that was due to the company and alcohol. I have been to many many shows, not just at this venue and have never heard the sound that bad. Good luck on the upcoming hip hop shows that are coming to Bridgestone Arena in the next few months. If I had to guess, they will be hard to sell out.
